This course focuses on the lifecycle of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) according to IEC 61511 / 61508 Standards. It covers all stages Risk Analysis, Design & Implementation and Operation & Maintenance, providing a comprehensive understanding of Functional Safety in the process industry. Participants can opt to take the “FS Engineer“ certification exam upon completion.
This course concentrates on designing SIFs and verifying Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) based on IEC 61508/61511, and ISA84 Standards. It includes practical exercises using the SILcet tool to facilitate calculation and comparison of various safety architectures. Participants can opt to take the “FS Specialist“ certification exam upon completion.
This course addresses cybersecurity risk analysis methodologies, including Cyber-HAZOP and Cyber-LOPA, based on the ISA TR84.00.09-2017 document and the IEC 62443 and IEC 61511/61508 standards. Through examples and practical exercises, participants will learn to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities within industrial systems.
