Design of Safety Instrumented Functions (SIFs) and SIL Verification course focuses on practical design and SIL verification following IEC 61508/61511 and ISA84 Standards. Participants work on real-world examples using the SILcet Tool.
The course covers key concepts like SIF, SIS, SIL, risk analysis techniques, and Safety Requirements Specifications (SRS), followed by hands-on exercises for scenarios such as tank level safety, pressure vessel overpressure, and emergency depressurization.
Participants get 60 days of access to materials (PDFs, videos, templates) and a 6 to 12-month SILcet Pro Plus license, depending on the package. Live sessions with instructors are available in some versions, and certain packages also offer a certification exam.
The course is designed for technicians, integrators, and engineers working in Functional Safety and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) in the process industry.
